We collect personal information that you provide when registering your business, scheduling appointments, or interacting with our services:

• Account & Business Profile Data Business name, category, owner name, email address, phone number, working hours, and public booking slug.
• Appointment & Customer Information Customer names, contact numbers, email addresses, requested services, assigned staff, and scheduled appointment timings.
• Device & Push Notification Data Firebase device tokens, device model, OS platform (Android/iOS), and app version used to deliver real-time booking alerts and reminders.
• Billing & Transaction Records Payment identifiers, subscription plans, and invoice history. Sensitive card details are handled directly by PCI-compliant payment gateways and are never stored on our servers.

3How We Use Your Information

We process your information for the following legitimate business purposes:

• Booking Management Displaying real-time slot availability, preventing double-bookings, and managing appointments.
• Multi-Channel Notifications Dispatching appointment confirmations, reschedule notices, cancellations, and reminder alerts via WhatsApp, SMS, Email, and Mobile Push Notifications.
• Billing & Account Security Generating monthly invoices, verifying logins via secure OTPs, and maintaining account integrity.

4Google Authentication & User Data

When you choose to sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar/Meet, Slot accesses only your authorized profile information (name, email address) and required calendar scopes strictly to facilitate seamless authentication and sync appointments. We never sell or transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising or unauthorized purposes.

5Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill legal accounting obligations. You have complete control over your data:

• In-App Account Deletion You can permanently delete your account and all associated appointment data at any time directly in the mobile app via Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
• Web / Email Deletion Request You may also view our Account Deletion Page or contact our support team at support@smsidea.co.in to request complete data erasure.

6Information Sharing & Security

We do not sell your personal information. We only share necessary data with trusted infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting, messaging gateways for WhatsApp/SMS/Email, and payment gateways) under strict data protection terms. All data in transit is encrypted using modern TLS (HTTPS) protocols.
