Mark any service to require a deposit, either a flat amount or a percentage. Customers pay a token amount to lock in the slot, and you collect the rest from your dashboard when the appointment happens.

Know when the money actually reaches you

When a customer pays on your booking page, the money normally reaches your bank one to two working days later. Weekends and bank holidays don't count, so a Saturday booking can sit until midweek. On Cashfree, eligible businesses can pay a little extra and skip most of that wait.

Card and UPI money doesn't land the second a customer pays. The payment company collects it first, then passes it on. With Razorpay and Cashfree that's one to two bank working days, and working days is the bit people miss, so a Saturday booking can sit until midweek. Stripe takes about two working days on Indian cards, about five on international ones.

Cashfree Instant Settlements New
Cashfree can switch this on for approved accounts, at a small extra fee per settlement. Money from a booking is then available to you in as little as 15 minutes, and it runs at weekends and on bank holidays too, when normal settlement doesn't. There's a daily limit, and anything above it settles the normal way. Not sure it's worth it? Leave it off and nothing changes.

Say how far ahead you'll take bookings

Cap how many days or weeks in advance customers can book, a week out, three months out, whatever fits how you plan your schedule. Don't want a limit at all? Turn the cap off and let people book as far out as they like.

Slot is pay-as-you-grow, ₹10 per booking, no subscriptions. You only pay for the appointments you actually take.
Absolutely. Slot works in any country. Set your timezone, display prices in any currency, and accept payments through Stripe globally, or Razorpay and Cashfree in India. Your booking page handles timezone conversion for customers automatically.
Connect your Zoom or Google Workspace account once in Settings, then mark any service as an online meeting. When a customer books it, Slot creates a unique meeting link and includes it in the confirmation email. Nothing to set up per booking.
Yes. Connect Razorpay or Cashfree to accept UPI, cards and netbanking in India, or connect Stripe to accept cards and local payment methods worldwide. All money goes directly to your account.
That's set by your payment provider, not by Slot.
